The Opening Cages Free Mobile App allows you to keep track of your pets’ needs, health and history. Opening Cages has made owning a pet easier and stress-free so you will never have to worry about forgetting appointments, keeping track of giving medications, or any important incidents to tell your veterinarian or specialists.

As a pet owner, you can also:

Animal Shelters and Foster Parents:

The Opening Cages Free Mobile App allows foster parents to set up and manage their foster animal’s stats. The details are automatically sent back to their shelter or animal organization. This minimizes the need for communication between the foster parent and their organization.

Foster parents can also:

• Manage multiple medications

• Set up reminders for medication times

• Monitor weight in g, kg, oz or lbs and temperature in F or C

• Track fecal score, urine output, vomiting, coughing and sneezing

• Upload pictures of your foster animal to their gallery

• 24/7 support videos to help you through challenging situations

• View your foster animal's age and their next appointment on the "My Fosters" screen

• Set up feeding schedules with reminders

• Enter detailed notes for your shelter to view

• Share your foster animal’s details with another foster parent if needed

Shelters and Animal Organizations

Opening Cages allows animal shelters and organizations to see all their foster parents and foster animals’ details in the software that we provide for no cost. As soon as a foster parent enters details about their animal, you can see the information in your Opening Cages software in real-time. Shelters can also upload their documents and any training videos for their foster parents to use in the Opening Cages App if required.
